Starting and managing successful business is a not easy task. There are too many difficulties for an entrepreneur. In my practical experience, I made too many mistakes with one of mine businesses. With this blog post, I want to extract 50 different advises that I have brainstormed from my experience and learning before some time and write them.

  3. Don’t think about quality of your idea just note it in your business idea book. You will analyze them later.
  4. Be creative about your idea.
  5. Think about uniqueness of your business idea.
  6. Find the right market and what that market wanted.
  7. Choose the best business name.
  8. Make a good logo.
  9. Spend some time on your plan.
  10. Spend time to check actual situations with forecasts in your business plan.
  11. Start building a list.
  12. Use networking, before and after your startup.
  13. Start building relationship.
  14. Use social media tools, because it is so powerful.
  15. Don’t stop improving your skills.
  16. Learn, learn and learn.
  17. Find right way how to balance family and business life.
  18. Hire the best employee.
  19. Ask for help when you need it.
  20. Be patient, success is not something that comes overnight.
  21. Always think about improvements of your sales funnel.
  22. Start delegate non crucial activities to your employees.
  23. See changes as something normal and something that never stops.
  24. Don’t resist to changes.
  25. Use employees suggest about possible improvement.
  26. Always look what your customers want.
  27. Sell benefits to your customers, not products or services.
  28. Don’t fear from mistakes, learn from them.
  29. Take risks. Entrepreneurs are risk takers or risk calculators.
  30. Never stop marketing your business.
  31. Promote your business even it is not places for promotion.
  32. Talk with people and share your ideas.
  33. Use blog to promote your business.
  34. Ask for testimonials and use it for promotional activities.
  35. Don’t think that your competitors are your enemies. Learn from them and use their mistakes.

  46. Measure the most important metrics.
  47. Think and continually improve your reputation and image.
  48. Always think about saving money and cutting unnecessary costs. You will need money in the “bad days”.
  49. Be ready for “bad days” as they will come tomorrow and work and live as it never will come.
  50. Think about future and positions of your business in that future.
