This one is a no-brainer, but try to always have extra cabinets to store whatever you need. Your number one concern when searching for a place to store any junk you have lying around is that the storage place should be inside your house. When you have everything inside your house, you can grab anything you want at any time without having to drive elsewhere.
You can just buy extra cabinet units for your house, or get plastic boxes and stack them in your storage closet. It is very important for you to keep everything neatly organized, so you’re able to find whatever you’re looking for quickly. If you don’t have enough room in your house, you can always use your garage. Try to place the boxes on shelves rather than on the ground, in case it rains or floods so that they can stay dry. If you do run out of space in your house, or you simply do not want to store things in your house and waste space that you want to use for something else, then you can turn to storage warehouses. You need to find a storage warehouse that is big enough to fit your stuff and one that is not far away from where you live. Ask For help
This solution is very uncommon but is totally okay, ask a friend or relative to store some of your stuff at their house, garage, or storage unit. You can use this as a temporary solution until you find another storage space. If you know that they have the space you need, then it’s totally okay to ask. You can even offer to pay them for their help.
Whichever option you choose, make sure that it is not too much trouble for you to commute to and from where all your stuff is stored. If you’re storing things outside of your household, make sure that they aren’t things you might frequently need.
