Mr Al Rajaan was appointed as Chairman of Al Ahli United Bank until 2015. In this position, he was responsible for overseeing the business affairs of the largest lender by market in Bahrain, operating out of Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Iraq, Egypt, and the UK.
Al Ahli United Bank offers investment services to select clientele. It provides offshore, retail, treasury, private banking and wealth management services for corporate clients.
Kuwait’s Public Institute for Social Security (PIFSS)
The Kuwaiti Government appointed Fahad Al Rajaan as Director General of the PIFSS in 1984. The PIFSS is responsible for overseeing the Kuwaiti social security system.

Fahad Al Rajaan has served on the board of several notable financial and investment organisations. He started his career after graduation as a Manager working for the Kuwait Investment Company, an organisation that has been responsible for developing Kuwait’s economy and establishing standards for effective, responsible investment throughout Kuwait since 1961.

Private Life and Personal Interests
Fahad Al Rajaan is married and has two sons and two daughters.
He attended university in the United States, gaining a Business Administration bachelor’s degree in 1974 from the American University in Washington D.C.
Fahad Al Rajaan is a proficient golfer. In 2013, he competed on an amateur basis in the Dubai Duty Free Golf Cup championship at the exclusive Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club. He went on to claim the title with a single-shot victory, acquiring 42 stableford points.
