30 Days to Start and Running Business – Part 2: Second 15 Days

We continue with the second part of the 30 Days to Start and Running Business – Part 1: First 15 Days. In the previous part, we passed first 15 days for a start and running. In that 15 days, we already make one big step forward to create new successful venture. Let’s continue with the second half of 30 days to business startup.

Day 16: Build your website

Today we cannot imagine the business without the online presence. Today, you must decide about the type of web site that you will use. Do you want to have a static web site with some information about products and services and contact details, or you want to have a dynamic web site in the form of blogs? You canchoose to  them today, or you can hire a technical person will transfer your ideas about the web site the html files.

Day 17: Connect with most important social media

Today the task is to connect with most important social media that will help to spread out the word about your new venture. Now you must decide what social media you will use, make profiles on them and customize them.

Day 18: Analyze and choose the locations

Today task that must be accomplished is to find an ideal location where your new venture will be placed. Before a start searching first you should describe the location that will be ideal for your new venture and note all desirable criteria that location must comply. There is a difference for location criteria that was based on a type of business. Are customers come to the business or you distributes the products to customers?

When you become a clear about needed location start searching and choose one. You must avoid these mistakes:

  • Choose location because it is close to your home. The home is not important about location. Importance is about customers and all operating needs.
  • Choose location only about price. Location is an important element of your new venture that can impact on overall potential energy.
  • Choose location only because of you. Without complying desired criteria your location is not good for your business.

Day 19: Make agreement for the location

When you choose the location that will be ideal, now you must contact the owner and make a legal agreement. If the location is a really ideal location try to make long term agreement.

Day 20: Build the team

Who will work with you? Who will be sales people? What about administrative tasks? Think about the ideal team that will make victory. You can have the best technology, the best products or services, the best marketing activities but without human resources your business will be nothing.

Today make a list of possible people that can work for you and contact them to make an initial agreement.

Day 21: Talk with everyone about your business

Today start with initial promotion of your new venture before real business startup. Go to your cousins and friends and talk about what you will work and what benefits the customers will have from your business. Talk with every person that you know and meet on the street or some events. Todays purpose is to introduce your business to all people that you know and can be potential customers.

Day 22: Set up bank account

Today you must decide about bank where you will want to open a bank account. Think about services that you want to have from your bank. Select the best and go to open a account.

Day 23: Legalize your new business

Now is time to make your business legal. Make a study for national legislation about needed documentation and activities that you must perform to legalize it. Today accomplish this task.

Day 24: Make business cards

Business cards are an important promotional weapon for every business startup. Today your task is to make your cards that will include a logo, slogan, contact details and your name and surname.

Day 25: Make promotional materials as brochures and flyers

When you finish with business cards start with initial promotional materials as brochures and flyers. These initial promo materials must introduce your new venture to the market or community where it will operate. You must make really impersonal brochures and flyers. If you cannot make hire professional to make them for you.

Day 26: Plan opening event

Today task is to make a plan for the opening event. How much people you can invite? Who will be invited? What will be in the opening program? Answer these questions and make a plan with all tasks that you must have accomplished with the deadlines.

Day 27: Build buzz about your opening event

Today you must start building a buzz about opening event. Use social media that you choose previous. Talk with all people about that great opening that will change their life’s. If you build great buzz around your business startup you will increase your potential energy for the future.

Day 28: Make invitation for opening event

Today your task is to make invitations for opening of your business. Yesterday, you build a buzz about your business startup that will make people starving to see how their life’s will be changed with your new business.

Day 29: Invite as much as more guest on opening party

You have a plan in which is noted how much people you can officially invite on official business startup. Give them invitations that you make yesterday. If you have more people it is a more probability that you will have more customers from that guests on opening.

Day 30: Start selling

Now when everything was finished. Your business is started and running the most important thing in next months or years is selling. Sell, Sell and Sell.

That’s it! This is 30 days that is needed to start and running.

Notes: Some days can be accomplished in one day, but some cannot. This depends on a type as we mention earlier. However, if there is needing an additional day for some tasks to be accomplished better, give it don’t limit yourself with.
